Can I install a metal structure myself?
While our metal structures are designed for simplicity, we recommend professional installation to ensure safety and structural integrity. Our trained contractors have the knowledge and experience necessary to install your structure correctly.
However, you can do installation yourself. You just have to keep in mind you would void all warrantees and certifications in the process.
Are your structures resistant to extreme weather conditions?
Yes, our structures are engineered and certified to withstand 145 MPH winds and 30 PSF snow. We do recommend confirming local codes with your county’s permitting office.
What are vertical roofs, and why might I need one?
Vertical roofs have panels that run from the ridge of the roof down to the eaves, which aids in shedding snow and rain more effectively than other roof styles. This type is recommended for structures longer than 36 feet.
Can I insulate my metal structure?
Yes, insulation can be added to our metal structures. It can improve the structure's energy efficiency and noise control as well. Feel free to discuss this with your consultant during the design process to see which type works best for you.
Can I add electricity and plumbing to my metal building?
Yes, you can add these utilities to your building. However, the work must be done by a licensed professional to ensure safety and compliance with local codes and maintain all warrantees in place.
How long does it take for my metal structure to be ready after I place the order?
The timeline depends on various factors such as the complexity of your design, our current production schedule, and weather conditions. We aim to deliver and install your structure in a timely manner and will keep you updated on the progress.
The estimated lead time given by your Building Consultant begins when you are 100% ready for installation, or in other words, a picture of the foundation is sent in to your personal Building Consultant.
Can I expand my metal structure in the future?
Yes, our metal structures can be expanded, although it's easier if this is considered during the initial design phase. If you think you may want to expand your structure in the future, let us know during the design process.
Does it have to be installed on concrete?
No, we can install on just about any foundation, as long as it is leveled and clear. We can also get you locked in with a certain building and give you adequate amount of time to prepare the foundation for installation! Ask your Building Consultant for more details on this process.
Do you pull permits for me?
No, we do not require permits. If your county requires a permit, we provide guidance so that you’re able to pull your permits.
Do you have a discount for military, first responders, and other frontline heroes?
Yes! We pride ourselves as a veteran-owned company and do our best to pay it back. Ask you building consultant for more information.
